Calvary's first-year swim team will send a pair members to the state meet as individual competitors and will have five relay teams competing for honors following Wednesday's meet at Centenary College. Lindsey Kosin qualified for state in both the 50 and 100 freestyle, while Rachel Briggs will go in the 100 backstroke. Alex Sorrels, Callie Simmons, Kosin Briggs, Abi Dupuy, Myranda Paul, Ashton Hardin and Tori Sepulvado will represent the Cavaliers in girls relay races. Calvary boys heading to the state meet in relay competition will include Michael Bynog, Cam Watson, James Stephenson and Daniel Lamers. Bynog will also compete in the 50 freestyle and 100 breast stroke individuals. |
